Master Time at Northwest Reiki Gathering

"Self-Treatment and the Aspect of Mystic Order”
August 11-13, 2010

Many of us consider self-treatment to be the very core of our practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. Take a look at your own practice. Where has self-treatment led you and what is it calling you to be? What does it look and feel like and how is the system working within you when you answer this call? And, as you reflect, how does the aspect of Mystic Order express through your work, through your life and through your hands?

Join Reiki masters from around the country and the world as we come together for three days to share our collective wisdom and experience. We will discuss these topics as we share Reiki and the stories that so richly inform our evolving community.

Susan and Paul Mitchell are the weekend’s facilitators. They are both students of Hawayo Takata, have practiced Reiki and inspired the local and global Reiki community for more than 30 years.

We will begin with registration at 5:00 pm on Wednesday the 11th of August in the main hall, followed by sharing dinner together. Breitenbush has asked us not to arrive before 4:00 PM. Cabin assignments will be available at registration. At 7:30, we will gather in the main hall. We will end with lunch on Friday.

Accommodations are simple, rustic cabins with three vegetarian meals each day. The fee for Master Time this year is $285, with a cash discount price of $280. The fee for attending both Master Time and the weekend gathering, if the registration is received before April 7th, is $610, with a cash/check payment discounted price of $595. On April 8th or later, the cost of attending both events is $652, with a cash discount of $636. This information is summarized in the chart at the bottom of this page. You are also welcome to pay by credit card. Please call or send this information via snail mail since our website is not secure for these transactions.

“Bringing Your Reiki Practice Home”
August 13 - 15, 2010

Hawayo Takata, who brought the teaching of Reiki from Japan, said “Reiki is for you first”. Do you easily give Reiki to others, but struggle with your own self-Reiki practice? Have you ever felt alone in your practice and yearned for a community to learn and explore with? Are you ready to step more deeply into this ancient healing form?

Once you have learned Reiki, you are a lifetime student of this powerful practice. This annual gathering of fellow practitioners – beginners and masters alike – creates a rich, supportive community, one in which you’ll find collaboration, watch your practice become more spacious and advance on your own personal healing path. With discussions, sharing and plenty of group and self-Reiki time, this weekend will renew, refresh and inspire you.

Accommodations are simple, rustic cabins with three vegetarian meals each day. The gathering begins Friday evening with dinner at 6:00 pm and ends with lunch on Sunday. There are natural mineral springs to soak in, a steam sauna and many beautiful hiking trails.

Cost for early registration by April 7 is $325 with payment by Visa or MasterCard, and discounted to $315 with cash/check payment. If you pay April 8 or later, the cost is $367 with a cash discount at $356. This information is summarized in the chart at the bottom of the page.

Please register early to assure your place at this year’s gathering. Early registration also helps us in our closed-camp negotiations with Breitenbush. If you have medical constraints, please submit your registration no later than July 1, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. There are a few tents and campsites available at larger discounts. Contact the registrar (below) for availability. There is a possibility that some portions of the weekend will be videotaped, so you may be asked to sign a release form.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship this year, please fill out the registration form, marking the appropriate line, and mail (with no payment at this time) to the address below. Completed scholarship applications are due by April 15, 2010.
